September - started new full-time job, fall TV season starts, bought a Xbox360 after Guitar Hero 2 is announced with new controller, canceled my Myspace account

October - got tickets for macworld 2007, Xbox360 troubles, 300 trailer, Macbook RSS fixed, bought my first Blackberry, my Xbox360 has its own blog

November - interviewed for MacNewsWorld, Gears of War, Guitar Hero II and Elite Beat Agents all released on same day, turned 28, XBL Video Marketplace released, subscribed to Netflix and Gamefly, bought an HD DVD

December - Geekdrome dead, started reading comics again, finally found out what all the hype about Battlestar Galactica, Veronica Mars and Greys Anatomy was all about

Received my Valleyschwag 4 shipment today. Nice shipment this month. Some standard issue stickers, a cool Perplexcity puzzle and and a sweet mobiTV mini lawn-chair. T-Shirt is pretty cool, from Videoegg. Was hoping for something other than black this month but oh well, nice looking shirt regardless.

I’ve recieved my first Valleyschwag package after a rocky start. First getting billed for two months and only receiving one package(still not resolved) and then having it sent to the wrong address(resolved), its finally in my hands and all all I have to say is: meh. Nothing great or even good. You can check out my Flickr set to see what i got. Some people got nice shoulder bags, others got Superman cookies. Didn’t even score a cool imeem shirt. Oh well, always next month.

A few months ago I seen a bunch of post about Valleyschwag and was pretty interested. Jello of the month club for geeks. I signed up but almost immediately canceled as i was moving and looking for a new job at the time so didnt want spend anything i didn’t have too.

Well, Kevin got his 2nd Valleyschwag shipment over the weekend and I got all excited again and signed up again. I should be able to get in on the June shipment which looks like it should be a good one. I’ll keep the service for 2-3 months and see how it turns out. I read about a lot of people who weren’t really happy with their May shipment. I guess that could be a problem when jumping from 60 to 1500 customers. For $15/month, if I get atleast one T-shirt and some small stuff, it might be worth it.
