Something bad happened.

I was playing Elite Beat Agents and got to Episode 11: NURSE! Gold Medal Hero or Zero!!. While playing the level I was really getting into the beat and the rhythm for the level. After I beat it, I went and played it again just because it was so fun to play. Then I got curious what the song was and who it was by. A quick google search later i got my answer.

Its a freakin Ashlee Simpson song! Damn you pop rhythm-y goodness.

I’m so embarrassed.

Rockstar: Supernova or Superhero

Written by: Alec Peden - Posted in: comics, music, tv

I watch very little TV and even less than that is of reality TV. One show I’ve gotten into this season is Rockstar: Supernova. Basically is an American Idol for rock bands, it just happens that the rock band is a “super” group consisting of Gilby Clarke, Jason Newsted and Tommy Lee.

One of the contestants is a girl by the name of Zayra Alvarez. I’m pretty sure she gets her outfits from superherocostumes.com Take a look.

X-Men??

Batgirl??

Geddum - Download Songs From allofmp3.com on Mac OS X

Written by: Alec Peden - Posted in: music, software

icon
Allofmp3.com is a popular, but questionable, site to download DRM-free music. Its the most popular music download site behind ITMS. Windows users has the option of downloading software called Alltunes to download songs purchased from the site. This leaves us Mac OS X users to use their webpage to download songs. This is where Geddum comes in. Its very simple one-trick-pony that simple connects to your account and downloads any songs you have bought. Simple and easy( and Universal app).

Download from there webpage.

Friday Quickie

Since I had to send back my motherboard for RMA and I probably wont get it back til next month, I probably won’t be posting much. So in the mean time, short multi-topic posts are my friend.

Based on an article on 43folders.com the other day, I picked up a Jimi Wallet myself today. I have some Before and After pics up on my Flickr. I’m liking it so far, tho I’m always checking to see if I have my wallet with me
now.

Been listening to the new Taking Back Sunday. I was really looking forward to it and i wouldn’t go as far as saying I’m disappointed but Taking Back Sunday - John Nolan + Major Label = not good. Song writing has taken a turn, even there song titles are now actually lyrics in the songs. MakeDamnSure is a great song, lot of TAYF in there. Only other song I’m feeling is I’ll Let You Live. But, its only been day one so maybe it will grow one me, who knows.

Google Calender Greasemonkey ToDo List - Nice addon til something official comes from Google themselves.

Officially switching from a Motorola MPx220 and Exchange to a Motorola RAZR and Google Mail and Google Calendar. I’ll post alot more on that later.
