Well, maybe a solution is available. Test this:

in the Gmail’s account settings, set up a filter:
from “me”
content “sent form iPhone”

skip inbox
mark as read

If you have left in iPhone’s Mail the standard signature untouched, e-mails sent from iPhone will no longer appear in GMail’s Inbox, and will be archived and marked as read.

Test it, it works here.

Finally got my pearl to work. I believe that the problem rests with Blackberry since POP downloads work fine with Outlook (no sent mail in inbox). BB is not handling POP well, and it does not work with IMAP.

Thanks for the help, but I’m more interested in finding out the step by step process you used for getting sent gmail to not show up with the Blackberry. I just bought a curve and this email deal is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated.
