Encode Video on the Mac for the Blackberry Curve
I’ve whipped up a Workflow for encoding videos for the Blackberry Curve. You will need to head over to my post on encoding video for the Blackberry Pearl for instructions but here is an updated Workflow that should format videos to the correct screen size. I do not have a Curve to test this so if anyone has one and would like to give me feedback, I’d appreciate it.
Just tried the new workflow, but I honestly don’t see a difference between a video done with the new one and the one for the Pearl.
Thanks either way, still the easiest way to encode video for my Curve.
How do you actually get the file on the Curve. I can get everything converted, but I cannot get the file on the Curve from my MAC.
@Matt – You will need to have a memory card for your Curve and set it to Mass Storage mode. Then You will be able to plug it into your Mac and it will show up on your desktop. Just copy the file into the videos folder.
Now the BlackBerry Storm9530 had been released recently. I have seen there are some tools can convert the popular videos to the Storm AVI,3GP,MP3,AAC….and so on.
